Dear
Dr Bauer, Puja, Erin and all,
We wanted to thank you from the
bottom of our hearts,
for all the care you gave to Brodeur. You made
such a difficult
time bearable. Your support during the
diagnosis, the decision making
process and treatment was invaluable. As much as
we hated
having to drop him off for his chemotherapy
appointments.
Knowing he had people who care for him and
make him feel
as comfortable as possible made it okay. We tell
everyone and
anyone about Palisades Veterinary Hospital
because you guys are gems!
God Bless you all and Thank You.
Love,
Glenn, Jenn, Quinn & Mack

We
came to Dr. Bauer in August 2008 on a referral for our cat Jinx.
He
was diagnosed with Ana plastic Fibro Sarcoma,
one
of the most malignant forms of cancer a cat can get.
We
didn’t know where to turn or how to help Jinx get well.
From our first appointment with Dr. Bauer, he made us
feel
comfortable, put us at ease and told us
how
he will do his absolute best to help us take care
of
Jinx and this terrible cancer that plagued him.
He
contacted oncologists, our previous vet, read thru
Jinx's medical records and told us the best route to go
to
give Jinx back the rest of his life. We made the decision
to
amputate his right hind leg, thereby giving him the next
7-8
years of his life to live completely cancer free.
His
surgery went excellent and his recovery was even better.
He
learned to get around very well with his new handicap.
Unfortunately, soon after his 7th birthday, Jinx started to
decline and it was hard for him to eat, drink and get around.
We
made the hardest decision of our life
and
had to put Jinx down 10/6/08.
Dr.
Bauer and his staff were there for us in our
time
of need, gave us nothing but
compassion and reiterated that this was the best decision
that
we could do for Jinx.
We
want to thank Dr. Bauer and his staff
for
all they have done for us.
This
is by far the best vet practice around and Dr. Bauer
is
the best vet any animal could ask to have take care of them.
Dr.
Bauer and his staff will continue to be our vet, in
the
future and our new kittens
that
we adopted recently
will
be very well taken care of under his watch.
Thank you for everything,
The Gentile Family

Dear Dr Bauer & Staff,
Thank You all for your wonderful care and
compassion.
You all helped ease the pain of
saying goodbye to our Mookie.
Most Sincerely
Chuck & Heidi

Dear Dr Bauer,
What can I say except thank you for making
Lacey's
final moments peaceful and most loving. I
also
appreciated your kindness and the gentleness you
showed
both of us. You saved her for me several
times
which afforded me almost 15 years of the most
wonderful
dog. Thank You so very much
Love,
Micheline

My 15 year old Doberman Roxy was getting weaker from Lyme Disease. It was
very hard for us to get her to our Vet, and she was not fond of the car. At this
point she was having trouble walking, falling alot, and needed to be put down.
We really wanted for her to be at home, in her comfy chair when it was done. I
saw their ad in the paper and called. The office staff (Jane and Erin) could not
have been nicer, or more understanding. The appointment was made immediately. Dr
Bauer came to our home with Puja. They were so caring and professional. The
procedure was so perfect, if that can be said. Roxy was in her chair, and was
not afraid. She just drifted off to a comfortable sleep. He was kind and gentle
with her and so consoling to us. I really cannot thank them enough. They made a
difficult situation easier to bear. I will surely recommend them. You are all
certainly in the right profession and are a credit to it. Thank you again from
the bottom of our hearts!
